This week saw the Supercross series make its way to Indianapolis for the 12th round of the 450 class and first round of the East/West Shootout in the 250 class.

Indianapolis would be a special event for Fox 450 and 250 riders, as they would dawn our Flexair Preest LE racewear, while Dean Wilson debuted the all-new Red Vue goggle.

250 –

For the first time this year, the 250 class would have Fox Monster Kawasaki riders Austin Forkner, Joey Savatgy and Adam Cianciarulo battling for the win in the East/West Shootout. Martin Davalos would sit out due to injuries.

The weekend started out great with Joey Savatgy setting the fastest time in qualifying. The heat races would go equally as well with Cianciarulo and Forkner winning both.

As the main event started, Cianciarulo and Savatgy got off to good starts, finishing the first lap in the top 6. Adam would work his way to the front while Joey had a small crash that put him back in the pack.

Austin would get a mid pack start and battle all night to stay near the front. He would eventually finish in 5th, one spot ahead of his title rival Zach Osbourne.

Adam would go on to finish 2nd on the night and gain valuable points in the Championship, leaving Indy in 3rd in the west series, just 12 points behind series leader Aaron Plessinger.

450 –

Chad Reed put in strong heat race with a 4th place finish putting him directly into the main event. Dean Wilson would finish 8th and transfer directly to the main as well.

In the main event, Dean Wilson got off to a good start, rounding the first lap in the top 5. Reed came out of the first turn mid pack. As the race progressed, Dean would work his way towards the front of the pack, eventually finishing 2nd, his best finish of the year. Chad would also move forward as the night wore on, finishing 9th on the night also posting his best finish of the season.
