This weekend, we headed to Minneapolis, Minnesota for the 6th round of the 2019 Supercross series and the opening round of the 250 East season. Austin Forkner didn’t waste any time making his presence known. Start to finish, he led the competition and took the top step of the podium. In the 450 Class, Ken Roczen had another solid night, taking 2nd place and recapturing the red plate.
250 CLASS
Austin Forkner #24
Austin Forkner had a perfect night. He grabbed the holeshot in his heat race and finished 1st. The main was a carbon copy. He came out of the gate like a rocket and led every lap. As battles raged behind him, he methodically clicked off lap after lap – taking the checkered flag by a large margin.
Martin Davalos #73
Davalos looked fast all night but crashes would squander promising starts. In his heat race, he battled with teammate Austin Forkner for the holeshot, but a crash forced him to recover for 6th. In the main, he had another great start and was riding in second. However, a pass by Smith would lead to an unfortunate fall. He had to hold up slightly for Smith as he made the pass. This opened the door for Martin who made a block pass, taking down Davalos in the process. He struggled after the crash and finished 16th.
Chase Sexton #23
Sexton was up and down all night. He would finish 8th in his heat race after a few falls. In the main, he was riding with the leaders before he crashed during a pass attempt. He would recover and finish in the top 5.
Christian Craig #38
Christian Craig had a fall in turn one of his heat race but was able to recover, finishing 7th. He struggled at the start of the main, landing mid-pack after turn one. Still struggling with injury, he finished 20th.
450 CLASS
Ken Roczen #94
Ken Roczen's consistency continued like clockwork. In his heat race, he rode with the leaders - battling with Webb and Tomac – and finished 3rd. In the main, he was 3rd after the turn. The leaders would battle for position through the early laps, but passes were hard to come by. Webb, sitting 2nd, would eventually make the pass for 1st and begin to gap the field. Roczen, sitting 3rd, ultimately passed Savatgy, who was holding him up, but by then there was no catching Webb. Ken would have to settle for 2nd but regained the Red Plate in the process.
Chad Reed #22
Chad Reed had a solid night, finishing 6th in his heat race and 7th in the main. It was an impressive ride for Reed as he made his way to 7th from way back in the field.
450 Class:
- 2 – Ken Roczen (+ 10.695)
- 7 – Chad Reed (+ 49.012)
250 Class:
- 1 – Austin Forkner (20 laps)
- 5 – Chase Sexton (+ 17.934)
- 16 – Martin Davalos (+33.135)
- 20 – Christian Craig (15 laps)

This past weekend the 2019 Supercross series headed south to what would be the most challenging conditions this year. By race time, San Diego’s Petco Stadium was soaked to its limit, leaving a minefield of natural obstacles: huge puddles, thick bike-seizing mud, deep ruts, and badly worn jumps. Though challenging, some riders would rise to the occasion. The real story of the weekend was the Pro Circuit team as they went 1-2 in the 250 final.
250 CLASS
Adam Cianciarulo #92
In Heat Race 1, AC was in third after the first turn. He made the pass for second, and worked towards the leader (Dylan) but was never close enough to threaten for 1st. In the main, he wouldn’t have to fight from the back. He grabbed the holeshot and never looked back. AC road a nearly flawless race to take 1st, giving him 3 wins on the season and catapulting him to first in the overall standings.
Garrett Marchbanks #61
It was a challenging night for Marchbanks, but he persevered. A DNF in Heat Race 2 would force him to take the LCG route into the 250 final. The extra laps would serve him well though. He took the holeshot in the LCQ, rode a strong race, and finished first. He would ride this momentum into the final. In the main, Marchbanks found himself in the front pack after turn one. He kept a fast pace throughout the main - passing both Pettis and Ferrandis – and took second. A mistake-free ride kept challengers at bay – earning him the first podium of his Supercross rookie season.
Cameron McAdoo #44
McAdoo finished 4th in his Heat Race to qualify for the main. In the main, he had trouble in turn two – ending up backwards and stuck in the mud. The Honda CRF250 pilot would battle back from 16th to finish 9th.
Rj Hampshire #31
In San Diego, Hampshire was ready to make a run for the podium. He won his heat race after nailing the start. In the main, he would nail his start again and was riding with the lead pack before the mud took hold of his bike. It would take him almost a lap to free his bike and by then he was 22nd. He road on to finish 15th.
450 CLASS
Ken Roczen #94
The 450 riders had to contend with challenging conditions, a deteriorated track, and a shortened race format (15 mins plus one lap). Despite these difficulties, early on, Roczen looked poised to take his first win of the year. He got the holeshot in his qualifying race and took first. And when the gate dropped in the main, the German rocketed down the main straightaway and secured the lead. Unfortunately, he would fall in a slippery turn two, dropping to 5th. He rebounded quickly and work back to second but was overtaken by Musquin on the final lap, finishing 3rd.
Chad Reed #22
Chad Reed’s experience showed in San Diego, as the 6-time San Diego Supercross winner road a strong race to finish 5th. His best finish of the year.
450 Class:
- 3 – Ken Roczen (+ 07.266)
- 5 – Chad Reed (+ 43.520)
250 Class:
- 1 – Adam Cianciarulo (9 laps)
- 2 – Garrett Marchbanks (+ 08.574)
- 9 – Cameron McAdoo (8 laps + 1.05.906)
- 15 – Rj Hampshire (8 laps + 1.35.953)
WHAT'S NEXT
Next week (2/9) the 450 riders head to Minneapolis for Round 6 of the Supercross series. In the 250 class, we switch gears. The 250 west riders will get a three week break, and 250 East riders will start in Minneapolis.

This past weekend, the 2019 Supercross series made its way back to Anaheim stadium for the 3rd round of the season. A2 would be the first round of the triple crown racing format. This format switches the night schedule to 3 main events with all qualifying taking place during the day.
450 CLASS
In the 450 class, Ken Roczen came into the night with the points lead in the series. Ken got out to a great start in the first main and lead the entire race - eventually getting passed on the last lap to take 2nd. Ken started mid-pack in the second main and had to work towards the front. After securing 3rd, a mistake in the whoops would see Ken go down and lose positions. However, he would recover and work his way back to 5th. Ken got out to another mid-pack start in the third main and pushed his way to 4th. The 3 moto finishes gave Ken 4th overall and would see him maintain his points lead as the series heads to Oakland.
Chad Reed rolled into A2 in custom racewear that paid homage to Jeremy McGrath - the all-time king of supercross and his hero in the sport. Chad had a tough start in the 1st main and would finish in 10th. He had a bike issue after the 1st race that would not allow him to line up for the 2nd main. However, in the 3rd main, he got a good start and finished 5th - his best finish of the year. His overall finish on the night would be 14th.
250 CLASS
In the 250 class, Adam Cianciarulo grabbed the holeshot in the 1st main and looked to be on his way to a win. A small mistake saw him go down and fall back in the pack. He would rebound and finish 4th. In the 2nd main, Adam would crash mid-way through the race and eventually finish 14th. In the 3rd main, Adam put in a solid ride and came home in 2nd - taking 5th overall.
Garrett Marchbanks had a tough night in all 3 mains. He would end the night 21st and is looking forward to Oakland.
&The Team Geico Honda riders had a good night. RJ Hampshire would finish 4th on the night with Cameron McAdoo finishing 6th.

Round two of the 2019 Monster Energy Supercross series was a pivotal night for the Fox Racing team. Ken Roczen scored his second-consecutive podium while Adam Cianciarulo took his first win of the year.
250 CLASS
It was Adam's night in Arizona. He started his day finishing first in his heat race and backed it up with an impressive holeshot in the main. After the first turn, he quickly pulled away from the pack, led every lap, and took his first win of the series. With the victory in Arizona, Adam jumped 3 positions in the overall standing and sits 2nd heading into round three.
“What I’m stoked about the most is the starts; the starts are back. That feels really good. The team has been grinding, doing everything we can. We made a lot of strides in the offseason with myself, the bike, the team - everything. It translated well tonight.”
450 CLASS
For Ken, it was a tale of two races. He had a disappointing heat race and would later joke, “Luckily we don’t get points for heat races.” In the main, he was a completely different rider. After taking the holeshot, he would lead much of the race with Jason Anderson in pursuit. Unfortunately, Steward ended up having a huge crash in the whoops, bringing a stop to the race, and later a staggered restart.
Several riders would take advantage of the restart, including Anderson, who gain significant ground on Roczen. Anderson would eventually make an aggressive pass on Roczen – taking him down in the process. Roczen would lose several positions but would bounce back yet again to claim third place and the overall points lead. Ken will be bringing the Redplate to A2 on the 94 HRC Honda.
“I bounced back at least and came back on the podium – the third place. That was super good; I’m pretty happy to be back on the podium. My team has been working so good, it’s unbelievable and I’m super happy with everything right now. Everybody that’s in my corner, I want to give you a huge thanks and also to the people that watch and all the fans.”

This past weekend marked the start of the 2019 Supercross series. The stage was set in Anaheim, California to see what the New Year would bring the top supercross riders in the world.
In the 450 Class, we would see Ken Roczen and Chad Reed lining up, as well as Adam Cianciarulo and Garrett Marchbanks lining up in the 250 class.
Team Geico Honda rider’s RJ Hampshire and Cameron McAdoo would also be there in the Fox V3 helmet.
There was a chance of rain that did materialize during the second qualifying session of the day, and eventually, let up and lead into what appeared to be a dry night of racing, but it wouldn’t last long. The rain started to come down as the 450 riders lined up in their heat races.
In the 450 class, Ken Roczen got out to a great start in his heat race and would go on to win. Chad Reed would have to work his way through the LCQ to get into the main.
In the 450 Main, Ken was off to a good start and worked his way to the front of the pack. He would go on to finish 2nd and escape the rain at A1, earning valuable points towards the championship. Chad Reed got stuck in a first run pile up and would eventually work his way to 9th. A great finish considering the conditions.
In the 250 class, Adam got a good start in his heat and worked his way to the front to take the win. Garrett Marchbanks would finish 6th and transfer directly to the main in his supercross debut. RJ Hampshire won his heat race and transferred directly to the main.
In the 250 Main, AC appeared to have the holeshot but lost control going into the first turn and nearly crashed. He eventually worked his way back to the front of the pack. However, a mid-race collision with RJ Hampshire would push him back. He put on another charge and finished the race in 5th. RJ finished in 4th, Garrett Marchbanks in 6th and Cameron McAdoo in 11th.

The 47th Annual Winter Olympics kicked off this past week at Gatorback Cycle Park, Florida. In 2017, this event was plagued with downpouring rain, flooding, and delays. This year was quite the opposite. Riders and spectators were greeted with beautiful weather all week long. The Mini-O’s feature a unique competitive format: riders compete on both Supercross and Motocross tracks, champions are crowned in both disciplines, and SX and MX scores are combined to give highest honors to the overall “Olympiad” of the event.
Hailing from Chile, Hardy Munoz was running red hot during the Supercross portion of the week, proving to be a podium threat each moto and leading him to a 450 A SX title. Texan, Grant Harlan, also in the 450 Pro Sport class, caught and passed all but one rider in the final moto to lock in the championship on the outdoor MX track. The B class was stacked with talent this year, putting Stilez Robertson to work after recently coming back from injury. In the end, Stilez claimed some moto wins, yet had to settle for a handful of podium finishes aboard his KX250f. South African Dirco van der Westhuizen charged to an MX victory in the 450 B Limited, and put together a combined SX/MX effort in the CollegeBoy for a silver medal Overall Olympiad. In the Women’s 12+ class, Jordan Jarvis (J.J.) was on fire, as usual. She won on the outdoor track, but unfortunately was taken out hard by her competition in supercross, leaving her with a 2nd overall Olympiad score. From the West Coast, Jeremy Ryan lined up with his East Coast Fox teammate Gage Linville. They traded motos on their 125cc machines, with consistent podium finishes all week long. Also making the trip from California, Hunter Yoder threw down a 2-1 moto score in MX to earn the SuperMini 2 (13-16) title. 85cc pilot Casey Cochran tallied a staggering 8 podium moto finishes. Thor Powell capped off his last 65cc race with a controversial win for the title in the SX 65cc (7-11). Michigan’s John Grewe was on his normal path of success, as he hammered out 5 titles, 3 Olympiads, and earning him the Vet Masters Special Award at the end of the week!
Congratulations to all who lined up at this iconic venue. Links below lead to full event results, and a list of podium performances and champions by the Fox team.

Domination. Fox riders Brett Rheeder, Andreu Lacondeguy and Ethan Nell sweep the podium at the world’s toughest mountain bike event!
BRETT RHEEDER - 1ST PLACE
In his sixth trip to Red Bull Rampage, Brett Rheeder showed the perfect combination of speed, amplitude, and his patented style to take the top step of the podium and his first Rampage win. His huge styled out flat 360 was done on a line only he attempted and helped to separate him from the competition with a final score of 89.66. He only needed that first run score and his second became a victory lap after waiting out the runs of his competitors. Brett adds this victory to a stunning list of achievements in the sport of Freestyle Mountain Biking. Congrats Brett!
Watch Brett Rheeder Winning Run
ANDREU LACONDEGUY - 2ND PLACE
Always a fan favorite, 2014 Redbull Rampage winner and Mountain Bike legend Andreu Lacondeguy showed passion and precision as he pulled out all the stops and pushed his Fox teammate Brett Rheeder to the limits with his final run. Adding his iconic style to giant airs during his second run he was on a burner until a late crash cemented his second place position with his incredible first run score of 87.33 - only 2 points behind Rheeder. Another Rampage podium adds to his already astonishing competition history, and you can bet he'll be back with his eyes on the top step for 2019!
Watch Andreu Lacondeguy Second Place Run
ETHAN NELL - 3RD PLACE
At only 21 years of age, Ethan Nell has already positioned himself as one of the most exciting new stars in the world of Freestyle Mountain Biking with his second podium at Rampage. Only 2 years ago, Ethan was digging for competitors like Andreu Lacondeguy. He got his first shot at the event in 2017 and made the most of it with a 3rd place finish. He had to up his game dramatically this year to maintain that podium position. His aggressive riding style and in-depth knowledge of the terrain in Virgin, Utah set his first run apart and came in at 86.33 - good enough to best everyone except his two Fox teammates. Big things are on the horizon for Ethan, and we expect him to keep climbing that podium in 2019 and beyond!

Brett, Andreu, and Ethan are part of the Fox MTB Global Freestyle team and compete in our podium proven products including the Rampage Pro Carbon helmet and Flexair jersey's, pants and gloves.
The 2018 WESS Championship headed to Sweden over the weekend for Round 7 of the 8 round series at the epic Gotland Grand National. The event has run consecutively since it's establishment in 1984, and welcomed over 3,000 riders this year to battle in the cold and wet conditions. Manuel Lettenbichler came into the weekend sitting 2nd in the season points standings, with just a small gap between him and the series leader. Taddy Blazusiak appears to have his season back on track after a tough start to the year, and entered the weekend 5th in the standings after a positive 4th Place performance at the previous round at Hawkstone Park in the UK. With heavy rains and cold weather in the forecast for the weekend, surely anything could happen at Gotland!
The weather conditions took a turn for the worst on Friday evening, with heavy rainfall drenching the track and creating quite a challenge for even the most skilled riders. The Elite class took off at 12:30pm on Saturday, with 3,000 riders and pure carnage behind them. Blazusiak avoided much of the opening mayhem and ran towards the front of the pack to start the race. Lettenbichler was not so lucky and would have to fight from behind to put in a solid result.
By the final lap, Taddy Blazusiak had moved up to 4th place despite two small crashes. He finished up in 4th and was the top scoring WESS contender, just off the Swedish dominated podium. Manuel Lettenbichler unfortunately did not fare so well despite moving as far forward as 25th on the final lap. Another big crash for the German on the last lap pushed him back to 43rd Overall, but he did manage to maintain 2nd in the Championship standings regardless.
“To finish fourth for my first time riding this race and in these conditions is a result I’m pleased with. The Gotland Grand National is a unique race and one the Swedish riders clearly excel at. With the weather turning bad, it was always going to be difficult to match their experience in this type of mud. But I feel we did a good job – we worked well as a team to adapt to the changes and challenges we faced, as they happened. In total I only had two small crashes, but I did struggle with keeping clear vision especially in traffic and that cost me some time. But like I said, fourth is a good day and I’m happy with that.” - Taddy Blazusiak

This past weekend, the AMA National Motocross series rolled into Budds Creek for the second to last round of the 2018 outdoor series. Once again, Fox team riders would be in the MX19 Motocross product line looking to finish the year strong.
Hot temperatures and high humidity would greet the riders as they kicked off the weekend with qualifying. In the 450 class, Fox team rider Ken Roczen continues to build strength and consistency after coming off an injury that saw him sit out the bulk of the Supercross series. Ken would put in a strong qualifying session posting the 5th fastest time. In the 250 class, Monster Pro Circuit Kawasaki riders Austin Forkner and Joey Savatgy are looking to capture an overall win before the season ends.
450 CLASS
In Moto 1, Ken has a great start - rounding the first turn in 2nd. He would immediately challenge Marvin Musquin for the lead and take the top spot after a couple more turns. Ken put a nice gap between himself and Marvin early in the race. With about 4 minutes to go in the moto, Marvin would start to put heavy pressure on Ken for the lead. But he would hold Marvin off and take the win by 8 seconds.
Kenny got out to another good start in the second moto, finishing the first lap in the top 5. Knowing he would need to finish in front of leader Marvin Musquin to get the overall win for the day, Ken set his sights on the lead. Midway through the race, he made the pass for the lead and started to pull away from Musquin. Kenny would hold the lead for much of the moto. But, with about 5 minutes to go, Eli Tomac had worked his way into second and started to challenge Ken for the lead. Tomac would make the pass and go on to take the win. Kenny would hold on to finish 3rd in the moto and 2nd overall on the day.
250 CLASS
Moto 1 would see Austin Forkner get out to a top 5 start with Savatgy buried in the pack. Austin would work his way to 3rd early in the moto and would hold that position to the finish. Joey was able to work his way up to 7th early in the race but would end up finishing the moto in 11th.
The second moto would see Austin get out to another good start with Joey struggling to get off the line. Austin would battle and hold 3rd until the late stages of the race. Coming under pressure from Mitchel Harrison, the two riders would nearly collide sending Austin off the track. Struggling to find a place to re-enter the track. Austin would lose several positions and finish 7th in the moto and 5th overall on the day. Joey would struggle to a 16th place finish and 13th overall on the day.
The teams will head to Indiana for the last round of the year next weekend.

This past weekend, the AMA National Motocross series rolled into the famed Unadilla circuit with just 3 races left on the 2018 schedule. Fox team riders would be featured in the MX19 Motocross gear as they looked to finish the season strong.
As the riders rolled out for the qualifying sessions on Saturday, rain appeared on the horizon. The riders would escape wet conditions in the first qualifying session, but their luck wouldn't last long. The storm started just as the second qualifiers began. As a result, the times from the first session would hold up. The highlight for Fox Racing team would be Monster Kawasaki Pro Circuit rider Joey Savatgy. Joey put in strong laps and would walk away with the fastest time in the 250 class.
450 CLASS
Unadilla was a mudder. The first moto began during a torrential downpour. Ken Roczen would get out to a mid-pack start. As Ken pushed to the front, he would stop in the pit area for a new set of goggles. Before the final laps, almost every rider had made a trip to the pits for new goggles. Ken would eventually finish 7th in Moto 1.
Moto 2 would see the rain let up, but the damage to the track was already done. The mud would start to get sticky and cause a whole new set of problems for the riders. Ken got out to another mid-pack start. He would pull in for goggles early and then start to work towards the front of the pack. He would work his way to 7th which would give him 7th overall on the day.
250 CLASS
Moto 1 would see Joey Savatgy get out to a good start in the treacherous conditions, exiting the first turn in 2nd. He would slip back to 3rd early in the race. Joey would eventually go down and pick himself up to finish 7th in Moto 1. Austin Forkner would have a couple of crashes, finishing the moto in 23rd.
Moto 2 would see Savatgy get out to another good start. Joey would put in a consistent ride in the harsh conditions to finish 3rd in the moto and 4th overall on the day. Austin Forkner's 2nd moto would go much better than the first. He would push hard and ride consistently to finish 9th. His moto finishes of 23rd and 9th would put Austin 14th overall on the day.

This past week (July 30th – August 4th) marked the 37th annual Loretta Lynn’s Amateur National Motocross championship. Typically hot and humid, this year saw cool temperatures graced the 1500 racers that qualified for the largest Amateur Motocross race in the world. Champions were starting to be crowned on Friday morning and carried all the way through until 4:30 pm Saturday with the WMX race being the final moto of the day.
Fox Brigade team athlete Jordan Jarvis capped off the weekend with a double moto win in the WMX event. Jordan held off early moto charges from Hannah Hodges, but by the end of the race, Jordan had a commanding lead to claim her victory. Jordan also contested the Women’s 12+ class during the event to capture a perfect 1-1-1 moto score. What an amazing end to an incredible week of racing for Jordan. A perfect 1-1-1-1-1 overall score for the week.
The next champion to be crowned was 65cc Fox Brigade team athlete Enzo Temmerman. Enzo fought extremely hard for this Loretta Lynn’s title posting 2-1-2 moto finishes for the overall. Enzo battled all week with rivals Logan Best and Landen Gordon, but at the end of the day, Enzo put his whole heart into this Championship claiming the 65cc 10-11 Limited title.
Fox team athlete Terry Bostard from Northern California was the next man to set his focus on a championship. Terry started the week off strong with perfect moto scores of 1-1. In his 3rd and final moto, Terry played it safe. He knew where he needed to be to claim the overall title finishing 4th. 1-1-4 moto scores were enough for Terry to claim the National Championship at the ranch in the +45 class.
John Grewe rounded out the Championship tally for the week with a 1-1-2 moto score. The man from Michigan rode all week flawlessly until the final moto of the Masters +50 class. Drama ensued while John was leading the final moto and he ended up being taken out by the 2nd place rider. John quickly remounted and started to charge back to the front. During the take-out, John’s thumb was broken, but he still raced on to finish 2nd in the moto. Damage was done though. The broken thumb would hinder John’s chances at a 2nd class title in the Senior +40 class.
We would like to congratulate all the Fox team riders on a wonderful championship effort this past week. We all know how stressful the week of racing at the ranch can be. We appreciate your dedication and focus on your racing and the Fox brand. Below is a list of the top 5 Fox team riders finishes at the ranch.

450 CLASS
Ken Roczen got out to a great start in the first moto, grabbing the holeshot and leading the field into the first lap. He was the one to beat in the early stages of the race. The lead was his for the first half of the moto, and he was able to put some distance between himself and title contenders Marvin Musquin and Eli Tomac. Tomac would eventually pass Musquin for 2nd and start the push to catch Kenny. Ken would put in one of his best rides of the year - battling with Tomac and holding the lead into the late stages of the race. Tomac would finally make the pass with about 6 minutes left. Ken would finish a strong 2nd in moto 1.
t was another strong start for Ken in Moto 2. When the field exited turn one, he sat in 3rd. Charging forward, he worked his way into 2nd in the early stages of the moto - just behind Musquin. Late in the race, he would come under pressure from Eli Tomac. Not giving in, Ken engaged in an epic battle for 2nd place, holding Tomac off for several laps. Tomac would eventually pass Ken, followed by Musquin to take the win. Ken’s 2-3 finishes on the day earned him a 2nd overall on the day.
250 CLASS
The Monster Kawasaki Pro Circuit team would come into the weekend with just 2 riders gearing up for the race. Starting with 5 pilots at the beginning of the season, they are now down to just Joey Savatgy and Austin Forkner.
Moto 1 would see both Joey Savatgy and Austin Forkner get out to great starts, Joey with the holeshot and Austin in 3rd. The lead would be short lived for Joey as he would go down on the first lap. Austin would battle in the top 5 for much of the race. As the moto started to wind down, Austin put in a hard charge and made a pass to secure 2nd with about 5 minutes left of the moto. Joey would finish the moto in 10th.
Moto 2 would see Forkner and Savatgy get out to slow starts, both riders just inside the top 10 on the first lap. The two would work through the pack together for much of the moto, battling each other along the way. Austin would eventually tangle with a lapper and go down. Joey would continue to push to the front finishing 4th in the moto and finishing 5th overall on the day. Austin would finish 18th in the moto and 8th overall on the day.
WHAT'S NEXT?
Next week, we head to the Washougal track - the series's only stop in the great Pacific Northwest.
In front of a packed crowd for the 4th of July race weekend, Ken Roczen gets his first moto win en route to a 2nd Overall at the Redbud National.
450 CLASS
Ken Roczen got a good jump in Moto 1, but a down rider in turn two would briefly hold him up, keeping him just outside the top 10. By the end of lap one, he had worked his way into the top 5 with his eyes set on the leaders. He continued his charge, moving into second behind Eli Tomac. It appeared he would cruise to a 2nd place finish, but with just three laps remaining, his persistence would pay off. A mechanical issue for Tomac would hand the lead over to Ken, and he would capture his first victory since his hand injury in Supercross.
Moto 2 would see Ken get out to a good start; he would end up running at the front of the pack for the entire moto. His pace was the best it has been all year, battling with Marvin Musquin for the lead for most of the moto. Ken would eventually settle into a nice pace, holding 2nd place into the late stages of the moto. On the last lap, he would come under fire from Justin Barcia. Barcia would make a tough pass on Ken with just a few turns to the finish, pushing #94 back to 3rd, and netting him a 2nd overall on the day.
250 CLASS
The Monster Kawasaki Pro Circuit team would come into the weekend fielding 3 riders: Austin Forkner, Joey Savatgy, and the returning Garrett Marchbanks - back from a knee injury suffered this year.
Austin Forkner and Joey Savatgy got out to good starts in Moto 1, running in the top 5 early. Austin would quickly push his way to 2nd running just behind Aaron Plessinger, and a battle between the two would ensue. Austin would eventually take the lead, but it would be short-lived. Aaron, looking to take the lead back, took the inside while Austin went to the outside. The two lines would come together, the riders collided, and Austin would go down. He was shaken up and took a while to remount. Plessinger would go on to take the win. Savatgy had a great moto going until a crash pushed him back to a 17th place finish. Marchbanks would put in a consistent ride finishing 6th.
Moto 2 would see Austin and Joey get out to good starts - Austin running in the top 3 for much of the moto. Austin would battle with Alex Martin over 2nd place for a good portion of the race. A good pass would see him take 2nd and hold it to the finish. Joey would put in a good ride finishing 5th in Moto 2. Austin would end the day with a 7th overall, Joey and Garrett would end the day out of the top 10.
WHAT'S NEXT?
Now we take one week off before continuing, July 21st for the Spring Creek National in Millville, MN.

Another weekend of racing is in the books. The halfway point of the 12-round series saw the world’s best line up at the only true sand track on the schedule - the legendary Southwick MX 338. It was a wild day of racing with rough riding conditions, several lead changes and dramatic late crashes.
450 CLASS
Ken Roczen continues to build his strength and speed. Still nursing a hand injury from Supercross, he has been working during the outdoor season to make progress on his entire program.
Ken got out to a great start in Moto 1, knifing his way through a seam and taking the lead after the first turn. He would lead the early stages but would eventually surrender the lead to Barcia, and end the moto in 5th.
It was much of the same for #94 in Moto 2. He would get off to a great start in the early laps – as he has done all season. He would battle in the top 5 for the entire moto, eventually finishing 5th and taking 5th overall for the day.
250 CLASS
Moto 1 looked like Shane McElrath's to win, as he started to gap the field early. However, Austin Forkner kept pushing, working his way into second. Lap by lap, he would eat into McElrath’s lead. Eventually, reeling him in and making the pass for the lead. Austin then held off a late charge from Alex Martin and Aaron Plessinger to take the first moto win. Joey Savatgy suffered a crash mid-way through Moto 1 and finished 32nd.
Austin and Joey both had excellent starts in Moto 2. Austin took the lead early - going from 3rd to 1st in a single straightaway - and kept a blistering pace for most of the moto. However, late in the moto, he would come under pressure from Alex Martin. As the two riders battled for the lead, Alex would go for an aggressive pass and the two riders would come together with both going down. Austin had the wind knocked out of him and would stay down for a while. He would eventually get up and finish the moto in 20th. Joey put in a good ride finishing 5th

This past weekend the National Motocross series made its way to Tennessee. The riders would line up at the Muddy Creek track to do battle in what many thought would be a mudder. Heavy rains the week leading up to the event had teams and riders fearing the worst for Saturday racing. As it turned out, the rains let up giving track builders time to get the facility dialed for the big show.
450 CLASS
Ken Roczen got out to a good start in the first moto, working his way to first and leading several laps in the early stages of the race. He would eventually finish 3rd in Moto 1.
In Moto 2, Ken got out to another good start. Once again, he would take the lead and stay at the front for the early stages of the race, eventually finishing 4th. With moto finishes of 3-4, he ended up 4th overall for the day.
250 CLASS
Garrett Marchbanks suffered a knee injury at last weeks round. He would sit out Muddy Creek, hoping to make his return at Southwick. That left team riders Joey Savatgy and Austin Forkner to battle the rest of the 250 field in Tennessee.
Joey and Austin struggled at the start of Moto 1. They would complete the first lap at the tail end of the top 15. However, by the end, both riders would work their way into the top 10. Austin would finish 5th with Joey right behind him in 6th.
Moto 2 was much of the same for the Monster Kawasaki Pro Circuit riders. They would have to work their way through the pack for the entire moto. Joey would eventually finish 6th with Austin coming home in 8th. This would match their overall finishes on the day.
Next up for the series is the famed Southwick sand track.

The Industry Hills Expo Center – thirty minutes outside of Los Angeles, CA - played host to the Fox Stampede. We were incredibly proud to be the presenting sponsor, but much more than that – we were just excited to see some racing. We weren’t disappointed.
Flat-track racing is one of the most exciting sports you’ll ever be part of. The greatest challenge, successfully sliding a 300-pound bike around a 180-degree turn at top speed – all while looking for slip-second openings to make a pass. Race classes ranged from minis, tank shift, vintage singles to open twins, ladies, hooligans and more. It was loud, fast, and rowdy.
The Fox crew, family, and friends were there for all the action. In the pits, the event team handed out Fox pins and pennants and even raffled out a full gear set. The grandstands were packed with "Fox Heads" cheering their faces off. And on the track, we were represented by Frankie Garcia #24, Ricky Rinauro #249 and Fox friend and Atwyld founder, Anya Violet. The crowds were excited, the competition was intense, and the action was relentless. Still, the event was just pure fun.
This past weekend marked the 4th round of the MX National series. The Fox teams came to Pennsylvania ready to do battle at the famed High Point Raceway.
450 CLASS
Heading into the weekend at High Point, Ken Roczen was coming off his best result of the year in Colorado, finishing 2nd to Eli Tomac - he continues to build strength and speed as he recovers from a hand injury suffered during the 2018 Supercross series. This momentum would carry over to High Point as he posted the 5th fastest time in qualifying.
Ken got a good jump out of the gate in Moto 1. But, as the field entered turn one, he collided with a group of riders and went down. When the dust settled, he found himself in the back of the pack and would have to mount an epic charge through the field to finish 7th.
The Honda rider would get the holeshot in Moto 2. And he would battle Eli Tomac in the opening stages of the first lap, trading the lead several times. Ken would continue to put in a strong ride, finishing Moto 2 in 3rd place. Moto results of 7-3 would see Ken end the day 4th overall.
250 CLASS
Monster Kawasaki Pro Circuit riders Joey Savatgy, Garrett Marchbanks and Austin Forkner put in great rides in the qualifying session finishing 4th, 6th, and 8th.
As Moto 1 got underway, Austin Forkner and Joey Savatgy got out to good starts, finishing the first lap in the top 10. Garrett Marchbanks was mid-pack and working his way through the field. Austin and Joey would continue to work their way to the front, eventually finishing 4th and 6th. Garret ended up twisting his knee and nursing his way to the finish - he would not line up for the start of Moto 2 due to his knee injury.
Austin got out to a great start in Moto 2, battling at the front of the pack for much of the moto. He would eventually finish 2nd, fighting off a hard-charging Dylan Ferrandis on the last lap, and end the day 2nd overall. Savatgy would have a big crash forcing him to pull out of Moto 2.

GEICO HONDA RIDER CHRISTIAN CRAIG TO WEAR FOX RACEWEAR
On the dawn of the 2018 motocross series, Christian Craig finds himself on the factory Honda CRF450R via Geico Honda. The premier bike supported by the best team in the industry. Christian’s path has been far from ordinary. A broken back suffered in a practice crash in 2009 forced him to miss the entire 2010 season. Numerous injuries throughout his 5-year professional career saw Christian make the tough decision to retire from racing in 2013. He would check back into reality, get a regular 9 to 5 job, and slowly try to come to grips with life after racing. However, his racing spirit wouldn't let him stay away for long. He would be pulled back to the sport he grew up in and become a fill-in rider for Geico Honda in 2015. Fast forward to 2018 Motocross, Christian finds himself on a great team and in Fox racewear.
“I think it’s every rider’s dream to wear Fox I’ve actually never put the gear on until a couple of weeks ago and it was kind of surreal. The comfort and style are unlike anything else on the market and I am honored to be able to wear it this summer for outdoors.” – Christian Craig, Geico Honda
“Connecting with a rider like Christian felt like a great fit for us. His work ethic, family commitment and genuine love of racing falls right in line with our values as a brand. We are looking forward to a great outdoor season with Christian on the 450” – Chris Onstott, Global Sports Marketing Director
Christian will fill in at factory Honda on the CRF450R for the entire outdoors series. He will make his debut in Fox at the opening round of the 2018 outdoor series at Hangtown on May 19th.
2018 JR. Motocross
Motocross families from across the United States swarmed the Lazy E arena this past weekend for the 3rd annual JR. Motocross event. Nestled in Guthrie, OK the Lazy E arena is the largest horse arena in North America. The dirt inside the arena is the best dirt a motocross racer could ever imagine riding on.
A small group of the Team Fox family was on hand to do damage within this arena on Saturday night.
First rider out of the gate was Jeremy Ryan. Jeremy suffered from a massive cold a few days before the event. Even spent Thursday in the hospital he was so sick. Jeremy sucked it up and went out in his first race and placed 2nd over-all in the Supermini 2 class. Jeremy's big heart didn't stop there. Next in line was the "Jesse Cup". Jesse Cup" is a race that features the top 6 athletes from the Supermini classes. The coveted " Jesse Cup" is a race in memory of Jesse Masterpool one of the best up and coming motocross athletes that past away years ago. With the focus of a sharp shooter, Jeremy went out and lead the "Jesse Cup" race from start to finish, claiming his first ever victory at the JR. Motocross event.
Another amazing feat was Fox team athlete Jesse Flock cleaning up all 3 classes he entered with authority. Jesse never hole-shoted a single event. Rather he started mid pack and would quickly slither his way through the narrow, tight one line track. His aggressive, smooth style made the event more than exciting for the crowd on hand. Jesse collect the Schoolboy 2, Open B and the 250 B title giving him a perfect score on his motos for the weekend.
Other outstanding rides were put in by Thor Powell in the 65cc 10-11 class. Thor was able to secure the holeshot and lead the race for several laps before getting passed. Thor ended up 2nd over-all on the night. Lastly, newest Fox team athlete Grant Harlan put on an amazing show within his main events. Grant lead most of his races at the JR. Moto x only to get edged out by friend and his Fox team mate Jesse Flock.
Team Fox Results:
1st Place
Jesse Flock – 250 B
Jesse Flock – Schoolboy 2 (13-16)
Jesse Flock – Open B
Jeremy Ryan – Jesse Cup
2nd Place
Grant Harlan - Schoolboy 2 (13-16)
Jeremy Ryan – SuperMini 2 (13-16)

FOX Off-Road Athletes Taddy Blazusiak & Manuel Lettenbichler set to take on the ultimate challenge in the inaugural 2018 World Enduro Super Series
In 2018, the all-new World Enduro Super Series, aka "WESS," will aim to answer the age-old question of "Who is the best Off-Road rider in the world?" For the first time in off-road motorcycle racing history, this groundbreaking series will combine multiple racing disciplines including Hard Enduro, Classic Enduro, Cross-Country and Beach Racing into one ultimate championship. The series will take a uniformed points system to 7 of the world’s most well established and supported enduro events, maintaining the unique spirit and regulations of each race. Riders are free to compete on their preferred size of motorcycle, and entry to all events is open to both Amateur & Professional racers.
With a series of this magnitude being established, our recently retired off-road legend Taddy Blazusiak has elected to return to racing with his eyes on the WESS title. Polish born Blazusiak hung up his boots back in December of 2016, after winning his final Super Enduro on home soil in Krakow. Being the most decorated off-road rider of all time with 6 FIM Super Enduro Championships, 5 AMA EnduroCross Championships, 4 X-Games Moto-X Enduro Gold Medals, and 5 wins at the Erzberg Rodeo, Blazusiak could not just sit idly by as the WESS gets rolling in 2018. Taddy is arguably more inspired and focused than ever thanks to the new level of competition set forth by WESS, and he is a definite favorite to take the championship.
“I’m super stoked about the WESS Series, and it’s a huge inspiration for me to make my return to racing. This is the type of championship that I’ve always dreamed about, and I’ve never been more focused than I am right now. Preparations have been going great and I’m feeling really comfortable on the bike. Time to go racing!” – Taddy Blazusiak
Joining Blazusiak in the WESS is fellow FOX off-road athlete, Manuel Lettenbichler. At only 19 years old, German born Lettenbichler is surely one of the rising stars in the off-road scene. His aggressive and varied riding style will serve as a big advantage across the different categories of racing that the series will offer.
“I’m really excited going into the WESS series. It’s going to be a busy race season with lots of events ahead of us. I think it’s a big motivation for myself with all of the new races we’ll be doing, like the Red Bull Knockout beach race. It’s a good chance for me to show what I’m capable of in all of the different types of riding. I’m all fired up for Portugal as I just returned from a warm-up event in the Dominican Replublic called the Machete Hard Enduro where I took 3rd.”
See below for the full 2018 WESS Schedule:
May 11: Extreme XL Lagares, Portugal Hard Enduro

As the 2018 series reaches the final stages, the riders made their way to Seattle with just 5 races left for the 450’s and 2 races left for the 250-west class. There is always a chance of wet conditions in Seattle...This year was no different.
Rain hammered the stadium throughout the day forcing organizers to change the practice schedule during the day and shorten the main events for the night program.
For Fox riders, Seattle marked the debut of the all new Airline racewear. The Pro Circuit team would be in the navy/white with Chad Reed in the black.
250 –
As the 250 riders entered Seattle, Fox Monster Pro Circuit Kawasaki riders Joey Savatgy and Adam Cianciarulo where sitting second and third in the points. Managing the tricking track conditions would be key for both riders as the night program got started. 250 heat 1 would see Adam struggle in the mud, going down and not able to recover to a qualifiing position. He would have to go to the last chance qualifier on a night where anything could happen with the tricky track condictions.
Joey had a great ride in heat race 2, finishing second. Adam would go on to win the LCQ to get himself into the main event.
As the main started, Joey was off to a great start, running in 3rd place. A fall mid way through the race would all but end Joey’s main event and any chances at the 250 west title. Adam would get out to a slow start running mid pack in the early stages. Adam would pick up the pace, geeting himslef in the podium postion in the late stages. On the final lap, Adam was able to make one last pass to finish 3rd on the night and keep his slim championship hopes alive.
450 –
Chad had a strong ride in the heat race, managing the muddy conditions perfectly to finish 3rd.
As the main got underway, Chad jumped out to a good start managing to exit the first turn in the top 10. Chad would ride a smart and consistent race running in the top 5 for most of the main event. As the race came down to the final stages, Chad looked to have his best finish of the year in hand starting the last lap in fifth place. The adverse conditions had taken their toll on Chads bike. As he rounded the last turn, battling to hang on to 5th place, his bike finally gave in. Chad, never one to quit, immediately jumped off his bike trying to push it the final 5 yards to the finish. As smoke poured from his bike, Chad continued to hold it wide open slowly working his way across the line to finish 7th, still his best finish of the year and continuing to solidify his place as a fan favorite.
One of the most iconic moments of the year, two-time Champion Chad Reed pushes a smoking bike over the finish line at Seattle Supercross..
The Fox Racing Airline gear set has a reputation. It's lightweight, and breathable beyond compare, constructed with an open-mesh fabric, it's specifically designed for hot and humid riding conditions. Today, we take the trusted Airline jersey and pant one step further - increasing airflow, reducing weight and improving flexibility.
MORE AIRFLOW THAN EVER BEFORE
Hot riding conditions put additional demands on you and your gear. Relentless heat, suffocating humidity and uncomfortable, sweaty gear not only rob performance, but they make your ride less fun. And that’s the only reason we’re riding anyways. Our all-new Airline gear set was designed to maximize your comfort in the hottest and most humid conditions. The jersey is lightweight, moisture wicking, and so unbelievably airy you’ll think someone turned the AC on. The pants follow suit with a vented lower leg and targeted venting throughout, specifically designed to maximize airflow and comfort. Motocross in the summer can be brutal. Get prepared for hot weather riding with the Airline gear set and give yourself an unfair advantage on the track.
2018 Freestone Spring Championship
Wortham, Texas
March 19-24th, 2018
The Freestone Spring Championship, for many, was the final stop of a long run of Spring racing over the month of March. Taking place at the iconic Miller Ranch in Wortham Texas, this premier venue continues to draw the top talent from across the nation to prove themselves amongst the amateur ranks. It’s unusual to run this entire event without a single day of rain, though the windy conditions proved it difficult for the crew to keep enough moisture on the track with the wind blowing all week long. Luckily Friday and Saturday came with some cloud cover and kept the course in prime condition.
Garrett Marchbanks has been paving the road to his soon to be professional career for years now, and this week was no different as Garrett won both 250 A Pro Sport and Open A Pro Sport premier classes! This was especially tough, as these two classes were a 3-moto format, 6 motos total, Garrett had to stay consistent all week, and battle back from a first moto crash. Brazilian Enzo Lopes, also put a great performance together in 250 A and Open A Pro Sport classes, ultimately winning 1 moto, and 3 motos on the podium until an unfortunate crash in his final race as he was heading into the 250 A Pro Sport with a 3-2 score. Freestone also marks the 2nd round of the WMX Pro Women’s series. Rookie Jordan Jarvis dominated the field with a 1-1 finish and her first overall WMX win! An early present to herself, as the young lady also celebrated her 17th birthday during the event. Oklahoma native, Jesse Flock, had his hands full this past week, as Jesse lined up for a total of 5 classes. Jesse came away with 2 moto wins, and three overall podiums in the 250 B and 450 B classes. Hardy Munoz, from Chile, also battled his way to 2 podium finishes in the 250 B and College classes. Out of the Northwest corner of the US, Levi Kitchen made the trip to Texas worth while with a 125cc (12-16) third place finish, along with NorCal’s Enzo Temmerman in the 85cc (9-10) Limited class landing a silver medal ride with in second place.
Congratulations to all competitors that lined up at this event, as the pool of talent was exceptional. Below is a list of top 3 performances by the Fox team.

Indianapolis, IN - Supercross Race Recap
This week saw the Supercross series make its way to Indianapolis for the 12th round of the 450 class and first round of the East/West Shootout in the 250 class.
Indianapolis would be a special event for Fox 450 and 250 riders, as they would dawn our Flexair Preest LE racewear, while Dean Wilson debuted the all-new Red Vue goggle.
250 –
For the first time this year, the 250 class would have Fox Monster Kawasaki riders Austin Forkner, Joey Savatgy and Adam Cianciarulo battling for the win in the East/West Shootout. Martin Davalos would sit out due to injuries.
The weekend started out great with Joey Savatgy setting the fastest time in qualifying. The heat races would go equally as well with Cianciarulo and Forkner winning both.
As the main event started, Cianciarulo and Savatgy got off to good starts, finishing the first lap in the top 6. Adam would work his way to the front while Joey had a small crash that put him back in the pack.
Austin would get a mid pack start and battle all night to stay near the front. He would eventually finish in 5th, one spot ahead of his title rival Zach Osbourne.
Adam would go on to finish 2nd on the night and gain valuable points in the Championship, leaving Indy in 3rd in the west series, just 12 points behind series leader Aaron Plessinger.
450 –

RYAN DUNGEY | PREEST LE
We recently caught up with Ryan Dungey at the Bakers Factory training facility in Florida. No surprise here, but retirement is treating him well, and some quality time with the Dunge is always a bonus for us. It was awesome to see him ripping some laps on the track in our all-new Flexair Preest LE kit and V3 Helmet with MVRS.
St. Louis, MO - Supercross Race Recap
This weekend saw the Supercross series make its way to St. Louis for the 11th race on the schedule for the 450 riders, and the 5th round for the 250 east series. Austin Forkner entered the weekend tied with Zach Osbourne in the championship standing. The two riders would share the red plate for the night.
250 Class –
Both Fox Monster Pro-Circuit Kawasaki riders started the day strong with Austin Forkner qualifying 2nd and Martin Davalos setting the 4th fastest time heading into the night.
As the night got underway, Austin and Martin were both lined up in the first heat race of the night. Both riders got off to great starts with Austin grabbing the holeshot and Martin close behind in second. Both riders would put in great rides finishing in the same order and getting great gate picks for the main event.
The main event would see Austin get out to a great start rounding the first turn side by side with series co-leader, Zach Osbourne. As the series leaders lead the pack into the first rhythm section, it looked like Osbourne would have the preferred inside line coming our of the section. The riders were still side by side mid-way through the rhythm lane when Forkner uncorked the tricky quad on the exit of the section. This move would see Austin clear Zach in the next 180 left hander and start to build a nice lead for the first half of the 15 minute main event.
With 7 minutes to go in the main and Austin still holding onto the lead, Zach started to apply pressure. That came just as the riders started to encounter lappers. As Austin tried to work his way around a lapper and hold off Zach, he came up short on a small dragon back double. This would see Forkner go down and Osbourne take the race lead. Austin would remount in 6th, working to gain as many points as possible in the closing laps. Austin ended up 5th on the night with Zach taking the win and an 8 point lead in the championship as the riders head to the first east/west shootout in Indianapolis next weekend.
Davalos would not have the night he was looking for in the main event. A hard crash midway through the main would see Martin walk off the track under his own power but in obvious pain.
450 Class –
Chad Reed qualified directly into the main event finishing 7th in his heat race. In the main, Chad tangled with another rider mid-way through the race damaging his bike and forcing him to pull out of the race after completing just 9 laps.
Daytona RCSX 2018
It was a wild weekend of events at the World Center of racing at Daytona International speedway. Over 1200 entries graced this racetrack, compiling hundreds of laps on this Ricky Carmichael designed course. The track changed only a slight bit from Pro night into the amateur event morning. The MX sports team kept the same layout as the Pro SX but did tone down the jumps to cater to the amateur MX crowd.
Sunday's qualifying went extremely well. Weather was excellent and the racers took to the course to gain their starting positions for the main events happening the following day. There were several division races within the schedule, which meant we would have close to 15 LCQ's within Monday morning’s program, before the main events would start. Rain also decided to show its ugly face for the first half of Monday's finals making for challenging track conditions.
The Fox Am MX team performed extremely well during these trying conditions. The first winner of his main event was Garrett Marchbanks. Garrett went out in the 250 A event and killed the field. Garrett rode well during the trying conditions of the Daytona course, but pulled off the victory in the end. Our newest member of the Fox Brigade, Casey Cochran was the next champion to rise to the occasion during the challenging event. Casey went out and dominated the 85cc 9-11 class with silky smooth style. The rider from Florida knew all about the tricky conditions of the Daytona course and used it to his advantage to benefit his race, and coming in 1st place during his event. John Grewe took the win in the 50 plus class. He rode hard all day long in all 3 classes. Excitingly enough, John was able to win his final main event in the 50 plus class, bringing home the gold for that event. John was challenged all weekend with the tough conditions of the Daytona course. These muddy and slick conditions tested all the racers out there.
Other Fox team standouts for the event were; Jesse Flock hammering his Pro Circuit Kawasaki to a 2nd place main event finish in the 250B class. Thor Powell jumped on a Factory Cobra 65cc for the first time in his career and placed 3rd over-all in the 65cc 10-11 class. Gage Linville put up a huge fight in the 125 12+ class to claim 3rd over-all.
What an epic couple of days of racing at Daytona for these youth riders over all. Just to experience the venue and the sights of Bike week in Daytona are priceless. Congratulations to all the racers that attended the event.

Daytona, FL - Supercross Race Recap
The 10th round of the 2018 SX series saw the riders tackle the infield of the famed Daytona Motor Speedway. Known as the toughest and longest track of the season, the riders had their work cut out for them.
250 –
Daytona marked the 4th round of the east coast 250 series. Coming off of two wins in a row, Fox Monster Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider, Austin Forkner was coming into Daytona just 2 points out of the series lead.
Austin started strong, posting the fastest time in both timed qualifying sessions during the day.
Heat race 2 saw Fox Monster Pro Circuit Kawasaki riders, Martin Davalos and Austin Forker lined up on the gate. Both riders were off to good starts and finished the heat in second and third.
As the main event started, both riders got good starts coming out of the first turn near the front of the pack. Martin rode a solid race ending the night in 5th. Austin had the speed to stay at the front of the pack finishing 3rd for the night. The strong finish from Austin has him tied for the series points lead as they head to St. Louis next weekend.
450 –
Chad Reed is still searching for the right bike setup and riding into shape after a preseason injury. He was able to qualify directly to the main from the heat race. Chad put in another consistent ride in the main event with a 12th place finish.

Atlanta was the second Triple Crown event of the year. A format that forces riders to qualify directly into the main events via timed qualifying during the day. If you do not make it in on your time, you must race the last chance qualifier during the day program.
250 CLASS
The 250 class saw some amazing racing during the night. Both Fox Monster Pro Circuit Kawasaki riders, Austin Forkner and Martin Davalos running at the front in all three main events.
Main 1 – Davalos grabbed the holeshot and looked to have control of the race until a mistake saw him go down handing the lead to points leader Zach Osbourne. Osbourne would go on to win with Austin Forkner finishing 4th.
Main 2 – Austin Forkner and Martin Davalos both got great starts in the second main, with Austin pulling the holeshot and Martin right behind him in second. Mid race saw Austin holding off a charge from Zach Osbourne for the lead with the riders coming together. Osbourne would go down while Austin retained the lead. As the race reached the closing stages Martin closed on Austin and passed for the lead on the last lap. Austin would finish second.
Main 3 – Martin Davalos came out the first turn in 3rd with Austin buried mid pack. Martin quickly worked his way into second. A mistake in the whoops would end Martin’s bid for a win. Austin worked his way through the pack needing to pass one rider in the closing stages to clinch the overall. He was able to make the pass on the last lap and get his second win in a row and close to within 2 points of championship leader Zach Osbourne as they head to Daytona.
450 CLASS
Chad Reed continued to build on his all-time main event starts record with his 229th main event start. Chad had consistent rides in two of the three main events on the night, finishing inside the top 10. A rough second moto had Chad ending the night in 10th overall.
Photos: Ryne Swanberg/Garth Milan of Octopi Media.
Austin led 20 pressure-filled laps to his first career Supercross victory. The 19-year-old professional was in the zone, riding under constant assault from the rest of the field. On the final lap, he was able to build a comfortable gap before the last turns and took the win in Tampa.
“I came into this season coming off a wrist injury and I’m feeling really good right now. The team has a good setup for my KX250F. Going after my first win was a challenge, but I was up front early and I tried to sprint to build a lead. I managed the pace to try and keep a good gap. I have to give it up to my team for staying behind me.”
Congrats to Chad Reed for breaking Mike Larocco’s all-time 450 SX starts record. With his at Tampa SX, Chad Reed set a new record of 228 - 228 starts spanning 16 years! You're a Legend, Reedy!
Arlington, TX - Supercross Race Recap
250 –
Dallas was the first round of the much anticipated east coast 250 series.
The day started great with Fox Monster Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider Martin Davalos setting the faster qualifying time and Austin Forkner setting the 8th fastest time.
Qualifying set the tone going in the night event with Austin Forkner taking the win in the first heat race and Davalos taking the win in heat 2. Both riders put in dominating performances.
As the main event started, Davalos had a great jump and looked to be in line for the holeshot heading into the first turn. As the riders started to brake for left hander, Martin was hit from behind causing a chaotic first turn crash. Davalos was thrown across the track taking several riders with him along the way. Luckily, he was not seriously hurt and will be ready to race at Tampa.
Austin Forkner was able to miss the first turn carnage and start the main near the front of the pack. A mid race collision with Zack Osbourne put Austin on the ground. Austin remounted and charged through the pack, and eventually finishing 7th.
450 –
Unfortunately, the Dallas Supercorss marked the first round that Ken Roczen had to sit out with a hand injury he sustained at the San Diego round last week. Ken had surgery to repair his hand on Friday. Surgery went well with Ken already starting therapy this week. No timeline on his return just yet.
Dallas also marked Chad Reed’s 227th main event start. A number that tied him for all time SX starts with Mike LaRocco. Chad looks to take the all-time starts lead with his 228th start in Tampa this coming weekend.
San Diego, CA - Supercross Race Recap
250 –
Both Fox Monster Pro-Circuit Kawasaki riders Joey Savatgy and Adam Cianciarulo debuted our military inspired San Diego 180 SE kits for the San Diego race.
Once again, Joey and Adam got off to great starts in the main event. Joey with the holeshot and Adam in third. Adam quickly worked his way past Justin Hill to get into second, with his sights set on Savatgy in the lead. Adam put some great laps together to close in on Joey and make his move for the lead in the right hander, just before the triple.
Justin Hill was also on the move, passing Joey for seond and setting his sights on Adam in first. The two had a great battle for the lead with Justin eventually taking the win.
Adam finished second with Joey in fourth. Both riders making up points on points leader Aaron Plessinger who finshed 7th.
The west coast guys take a break now as the east coast will kick their season off in Dallas this weekend.
450 –
Round 6 of the AMA Supercross series brought the riders to San Diego. Ken Roczen paid homage to the armed forces with a set of custom Camo Preest Flexair Racwear. Ken’s gear may have been the highlight of his night.
As the main event statrted, Ken got tangled with a couple riders going in to the first turn and went down. As he picked himself up and started to work his was through the pack he became engaged in a heated battle with Cooper Webb… Both riders not wiling to give an inch. The final move came with Ken getting more traction than he anticipated, trying to dive under Copper in a left hand turn. His bike rocketed out of his grasp and into Webb. The ensuing crash had Ken’s right arm get caught in the swingarm and rear wheel of Webb’s bike, injuring his hand and bringing his night of racing to an end.
Ken will most likely miss a couple of rounds with a hand injury. We are hoping for a speedy recovery and hope to see Ken back to racing soon.

Oakland, CA - Supercross Race Recap
250 –
Fox had another strong showing from Monster Pro-Circuit Kawasaki rider Joey Savatgy. Joey got out of the gate strong, running second for the majority of the race. The closing laps saw Joey slip back to third as Justin Hill was able to pass for second. Joey fought back to pass Justin and land in 2nd place on the podium for the night, and retain his second position in the point standings.
Adam Cianciarulo had a tough start in the main event, going off the track in the first turn. Adam battled his way through the pack to finish in 7th, leaving Oakland 4th in the championship points standings.
450 –
In what turned out to be one of the best races to date, Ken Roczen came so close to capturing his first win of the season at Oakland SX.
The track turned out to be the most demanding and technical we have seen this year. Ken got off to a great start, behind his teammate Cole Seely. For a moment, it looked like it was going to be a factory Honda sweep of the top two podium spots. Seely ended up going down in one of the technical rhythm sections with Ken taking over the lead. Ken put in great ride to hold the lead for the majority of the race. As the race came to its closing stages, points leader Jason Anderson was on the move, closing to within striking distance with two laps to go.
What ensued was an epic battle to the finish. Ken and Jason swapped the lead several times in the last two laps, coming down to the last rhythm section where Ken made a small mistake that allowed Jason to pass for the win.
Ken’s great ride moved him up to 2nd in the points standing as the series heads to San Diego.

250SX CLASS
Adam Cianciarulo #92
Continuing his impressive season, Adam Cianciarulo entered the main in the third qualifying spot. He started the main event in sixth, and from there methodically picked off riders. By the sixth lap, he found himself riding in fourth and was able to take advantage of a mistake by Joey Savatgy to secure third, where he would finish the race.
Joey Savatgy #17
Joey Savatgy started the main event with an incredible holeshot from the outside starting gate. He stayed with the front pack for several laps and was keeping pace in third, but a late mistake in the final few laps would lose him a few spots. He recovered quickly and battle back, ending the night in fourth.
Adam and Joey are sitting 3rd and 4th in the Championship as they head to Oakland.
450SX CLASS
Ken Roczen #94
The 450 class saw Ken Roczen put in an excellent rebound ride after a tough night at the A2 Triple Crown event. Working his way past title contenders Jason Anderson and Marvin Musquin to finish third on the night and gain valuable championship points. Ken leaves Phoenix in 3rd place in the points, just 12 back from the leader, Jason Anderson.
Chad Reed #22
In Glendale, Chad Reed found himself in the LCQ for the second week in a row as he continues to fight through his ankle injury. The dramatic LCQ saw Reed exit the first turn in third. After losing some ground, he would fight back to second; the crowd loved it. Reed would finish 19th in the main. His results aren’t there yet, but there's no quit in #22. Chad dawned a custom set of 360 Preme racewear to celebrate Australia day.

Anaheim 2 Supercross – Race Recap
Anaheim 2 marked the first round of the Triple Crown format for the 2018 Supercross series. The Triple Crown features a unique 3 main event format that would see good starts being more critical than the traditional single main event SX format. Shorter main events meant less time to come through the pack.
250 SX –
The 250 class saw both Monster Pro-Circuit Kawasaki Fox riders Joey Savatgy and Adam Cianciarulo getting great starts in all 3 main events. Savatgy would go on to win 2 of the 3 mains giving him the overall Triple Crown victory for the night. Joey’s strong performance had him leave Anaheim tied for the Championship points lead.
450 SX –
In a night where starts were critical, Ken Roczen struggled to get off the line in the first two main events. A good start and a solid ride in the third main saw Ken finish in 4th place. Ken leaves A2 in 4th place in the overall championship.
Still riding himself into race shape after a preseason injury, Chad Reed won the last chance qualifier during the day to get into the night program. Gutty rides in the 3 mains saw Chad come him in 14th overall for the night.

46th Annual Winter Olympics
Gatorback Cycle Park
Gainesville, FL.
November 21-25th, 2017
The 46th Annual running of the Winter Olympics kicked off this past week at the iconic Gatorback Cycle Park. This unique event features 2 race tracks, Supercross during the first half of the week, followed by the outdoor Motocross portion of the event. At the end of the week these scores are combined to crown the overall Olympiad. The unpredictable Florida weather hindered the schedule this week, cancelling racing for the entire day of Thanksgiving, ultimately causing the promotors to cut LCQ’s out of the event, making for a cut-throat make-it-or-break-it sense of urgency each moto.
In the A/Pro classes, Garrett Marchbanks won the 450 Pro Sport in both SX and MX, this also being his debut race in the A class! Brazilian, Enzo Lopes, was also on fire in the first half of the week with a 250 Pro Sport win in SX, yet Enzo having a bad get-off ended up unable to finish out the week. In the B class and still new to the 250f transition, Stilez Robertson was killing it with a 250 B Limited SX championship, along with a handful of podium finishes. Oklahoma’s Jesse Flock was also a contender in the B class all week with a 450 B Limited SX title. JJ Jarvis was riding great in the Girls and Women’s classes as well, taking the gold in SX and MX in the Girls Sr. class, and just missing the top spot in the Women’s 14+ with 2 second place finishes, though she was chipping away at the leader each lap, but ran out of time during the reduced number of laps due to the rain delay during the week. In the SuperMini class, Jeremy Ryan claimed the SuperMini 2 (13-16) class title in the MX half of the week. John Grewe took a permanent residency on the podium this week! John won 10 of his 12 motos, wrapping up all 4 Overall Olympiad titles in the 35+, 40+, 45+, and 50+. At the end of the week John was given the Vet Masters Award, with the only blemish on his record was having the 35+ SX gold medal taken by RedDog Timmy Ferry.
Congratulations to all finishers and champions! Below is a list of Fox team top 3 results, along with a link to full event results.

2017 Loretta Lynn’s Amateur Motocross National
Hurricane Mills, Tennessee
This year marked the 36th annual running of the AMA Loretta Lynn’s Amateur Motocross National in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee. The prestigious land of Loretta Lynn’s Ranch makes for an incredible backdrop for this week-long event. Close to 1300 racers were able to qualify to do battle for the 32 national championships awarded at the ranch.
The Fox Am team had an incredible week’s worth of racing claiming 5 Amateur National Championships and 12 more podium positions. Also, on site was the current and 3 time WMX Champion Kylie Fasnacht who took home the victory with a 1-1 score in the final round of the WMX’s series.
The 2 highest scoring athletes on the Team this week were Garrett Marchbanks with double moto victories in the 250 B class and the Schoolboy 2 (12-17) class and, Ty Masterpool with double moto victories in the most prestigious races within mini bike racing the SuperMini 1 (12-15) SuperMini 2 (13-16) classes. Both riders outperformed all the other respected racers within the Amateur and Youth classes thus earning them The Amateur (Garrett Marchbanks) and Youth (Ty Masterpool) rider of the year awards from the AMA. Youth Rider of the year is based on his or her performances in the Youth classes at the Loretta Lynn’s National. The Amateur Rider of the year is based on the non A class rider that is predicted to have the most success as an A rider in his or her following year.
Garrett struggled with starts in his first couple of motos having to work his way through the pack to win. Shortly thereafter, Garrett would figure out the fast-right hand turn of Loretta Lynn’s and started to hole-shot and walk away with the win. Garrett went on to win 5 of his 6 motos for the week in very impressive fashion. Ty Masterpool on the other hand made life easy on himself in the early motos posting 3 podiums right off the bat. Ty struggled with horrible starts later in the week and was forced to claw his way back up from practically dead last to win each title. It was full on racing drama all the way to the end. Congratulations to Ty and his privateer victory winning on a TM branded motorcycle. A brand which has never won an AMA AM Motocross National event. The last history making moment is the three Masterpool boys are the only trio of brothers to have all won Championships at the ranch. Ty made that history making moment come true this past week for the family.
There was a ton of other great moto action amongst the team. John Grewe was able to capture another championship at the Ranch in the 50+ class and second in the 40+ class. As the series finished up at LL with the final motos of the WMX series, Kylie Fasnacht was able to bring home another event win to top off her 2017 Championship season in the WMX class. Ethan Mann was able to hammer down his final motos of the week in winning fashion claiming two 2nd over-all finishes in the Schoolboy 1 (12-16) and 125cc (12-16) classes. Jordan Jarvis had a great week of racing coming back from a major bike issue in the first moto of the womens (12+) amateur class to go DNF-1-1 and then 3-3-3 for 2nd over-all in the girls (11-16) class. Enzo Lopes (Brazil) had an epic week early on running down and catching the Horizon award winner Justin Cooper during a couple of motos. Enzo showed everyone what he was capable of under the pressures of the AM Nationals. Lastly, the father and son duo of Don and Preston Boespflug were on site to go racing. Watching this father and son work together to discuss lines on the track and moto finishes was a very cool story to follow throughout the week. Preston would end up 3rd OA in the 65cc (7-11) class and Dad (Don) would end up coming home 4th in the 50+ class.

MX18 | DREAM ON
Every year we have to shoot photos and video of our top riders for our upcoming season. Due to their heavy schedules, we usually end up shooting each rider by themselves. This year we assembled all of our available riders in one location at one time. Having this many bad dudes in one spot usually only happens on race day. This time: no opening ceremonies, no racing, no motos, no training; it was time to have fun riding dirt bikes. Shooting photos for an entire catalog and a full video in one day is a tremendous task; but in between all of the chaos, the crew would stop and reflect on the how special it was to have this roster in such an amazing spot. It was a surreal day for everyone involved. It’s only fitting the place is called Dreamland.

The 2017 MXGP series made a visit to the Crossdromo Internacional de Águeda facility in Portugal over the weekend for Round 12 of the circuit. Visiting Agueda for the first time since the last GP held there in 2014, the riders were greeted with the classic hardpack racing surface although the track layout has been changed slightly.
Saturday brought the MXGP Qualifying Race and HRC’s Tim Gajser looked to get the weekend off to a strong start after struggling through injury in his return to racing in Ottobiano last week. After a strong start he was able to push through the pain to 5th place to set himself up nicely for Sunday’s races. Gautier Paulin finished 10th and Evgeny Bobryshev salvaged a 15th as he continues to ride through injury as well.
The first MXGP moto on Sunday brought a challenging task for all of our athletes as Gajser was 8th, Bobryshev 11th and Paulin 12th. Gajser looked to turn things around in the second moto when he flew out of the starting gate and grabbed the holeshot, leading the field out onto the circuit. Some mistakes early on in the race cost him a few positions and he slipped back to eventually finish 6th for 6th Overall on the weekend. We can see that the Slovenian is beginning to get back to his old form and should be standing atop the podium in the very near future. Bobryshev was 9th, giving him 10th Overall on the weekend and Paulin was 11th which gave him 12th Overall.
HRC MX2 fill-in rider Anthony Rodriguez scored the first top 10 finish of his MXGP career with an 8th Overall for the weekend.
The series now takes a two-week break and resumes with the MXGP of Czech Republic on 23rd of July.

2017 Mammoth Motocross
June 16-25th, 2017
Mammoth Lakes, California
Mammoth Motocross kicked off this past week for the 50th time in history, continuing the tradition and still the longest running motocross event in the United States. Sitting at roughly 8,000 feet of elevation, and Mammoth being at the base of their premier ski resort, an overactive winter and high snow levels left parts of the track under water just weeks before the event. After running miles pipe and pumping literally millions of gallons of water, the crew pulled it off and the event went off without a hitch.
Garrett Marchbanks was on fire this week, claiming all 3 of his classes in 250 B, SchoolBoy 2, and 250 B/C Open. Ciaran Naran in that class group as well, had consistent week with all 3 heat races on the podium. Enzo Lopes was running fast in the A class, taking 2nd place in both the 250 Pro and Open Pro. Tristan Miller also came out to Mammoth with his beast of a 500cc machine to dominate the FMF 2-Stroke race. North Carolina’s Jordan Jarvis made the drive all the way to California, not only to win the Women’s 12+ championship, but also she placed in the top 10 in the SchoolBoy 1 and 125cc b/c boys classes! The SuperMini classes were heated to say the least, Stilez Robertson collected some big bear trophies winning final motos in SuperMini 1 & 2 during the 2 mini race days! NorCal’s Jeremy Ryan also had a good week in SuperMini classes consistently on the podium, while Levi Kitchen from the NorthWest was battling with some sickness issues still managed to stay within the top 5 in SuperMini 1.65cc pilot, Enzo Temmerman, won day 2 of the 65cc (7-9), along with Preston Boespflug in the older 65cc (10-11) classes having a successful week on the podium.
Congratulations to all who came out to compete at this historic 50th annual event! Below is a list of top 3 performances by the Fox team, and link to full race results.

2017 Junior Moto-X
Guthrie, Oklahoma
May 10-13th, 2017
The 2nd Annual Junior Moto-X returned to Lazy-E Arena in Guthrie Oklahoma this past week. Lazy-E Arena is the largest equestrian arena in North America and a first class facility. The Junior Moto-X is a youth focused event limited to competitors 18 years of age and under, and bike size 250cc and below.
This unique track is a hybrid of supercross and motocross style, specifically designed with rider safety in mind. Along with the diverse features and multiple option lanes, this arena consists of some of the best around.
On the big bike portion of the event, Oklahoma native Jesse Flock put in a hard charge in the 125cc two stroke class championship. Ethan Mann rounded out the podium in the 250 B Limited class with a third place, while North Carolina’s JJ Jarvis won the Women’s 14-18 title.
Ty Masterpool, the youngest of the Masterpool family, along with Fox teammate Jeremy Ryan were both on fire! Ty took the championship in the SuperMini 2, and Jeremy earned a silver medal finish in the SuperMini 1 class. Ty and Jeremy also finished 1st and 2nd in the Jesse Cup race, which is a combination of the top 8 fastest racers in both SuperMini 1 and SuperMini 2 classes. The “Jesse Cup” is a race dedicated to the spirit and memory of Jesse Masterpool. Jesse was a Fox team athlete we lost to a tragic motocross accident in 2010. Jesse embodied the passion and dedication for the sport of motocross that we all remember him for today. Jesse’s legacy lives on through our racing community and families.
Congratulations to all in attendance of this great event. Below is a list of top 3 finishes by Fox team athletes.

Monster Energy AMA Supercross
Sam Boyd Stadium – Las Vegas, NV
Round 17 of 17
May 6, 2017
Congratulations to Fox Racing athlete Ryan Dungey who won the 450 SX Supercross Title on Saturday night in Las Vegas. Dungey survived a wild 450 SX main event to finish fourth on the night and clinch his third straight title, and the fourth of his career. Dungey entered the night with a nine-point edge over Eli Tomac in the standings. The final saw an incredible race with several lead changes, where twice he collided with Eli Tomac, including one during a tense final lap, but Dungey still finished high enough Saturday at Sam Boyd Stadium to get it done.
Ryan Dungey had this to say following his win, “This season was one of the toughest of my career, so it means that much more. We went through a lot of tough times, battles and adversity. I can’t thank everyone enough for sticking behind me.”
Congrats Ryan!

Babes In The Dirt 3 - Hungry Valley OHV - Gorman, CA
“Coming from someone who rides BMX and Harley's and whose always wanted to see what dirtbikes were about, I definitely had SO much fun! The Husqvarna crew was amazingly patient with me and everyone else who was new to the game. They made sure we were safe, were so helpful and very nice. I cant thank Fox enough for bringing me out to my first ever Babes in the Dirt. I'm proud to be an ambassador for them. It's so rewarding and inspiring. Seeing all the Fox marketing women holding it down all weekend at the booth with free giveaways for every single lady there and hosting gear demos throughout the weekend for all of us to try on our rides made everyone feel protected and the vibes were great. Riding was way more fun than I could have ever imagined. I made new friends, saw old ones, and now I’m excited to get a dirtbike of my own… as soon as possible, haha! I’m already looking forward to next year!” – Nina Buitrago, Professional BMX rider
We want to send out a big THANK YOU to Anya & Ashmore of Babes Ride Out for putting on such an amazing event and bringing so many women together. All for the love of moto!

2017 California Classic
April 6-9th, 2017
Pala, CA.
Located in North San Diego County, the California Classic kicked off this past week in Pala, California. Springtime sunny California weather held out for the week making for great conditions. The Cal Classic runs on a 3 moto format, not only rewarding the fastest, but it takes consistency to put together a championship at this event.
Garrett Marchbanks was clearly on a mission this past week, winning 4 of 4 championships in all his classes! Garrett cleaned up the 250 B, 450 B, SchoolBoy 2, and Open B/C classes on his Team Green ride. In the A/Pro classes, Michael Mosiman was on a blistering fast pace, though a couple miscues left him out of contention for a good overall finish, even though the speed was crystal clear as he leads into his professional debut at Hangtown in May. Eldest of the Mosiman brothers was on hand as well to claim a podium spot in the Open Pro class, along with Brazilian Enzo Lopes consistently finishing within the top 5. Tristan Miller was aboard his 500cc beast for the FMF 2-Stroke Challenge. Headed into the last moto with 1-1 scores, Tristan had a small mistake in a corner and handed over the gold for silver, taking home 2nd place overall. In the SuperMini classes, Jeremy Ryan and Levi Kitchen were both chasing down podium positions over the 4 days of racing. 65cc pilot Enzo Temmerman won 3 motos in the 65cc (7-9) mod and limited classes, ultimately earning himself 2 second place trophies in each class. In the older 65cc (10-11) classes, Preston Boespflug traveled from the Pacific Northwest to battle for 4 podium finishes spread between his three 65cc classes he entered. The Cal Classic also marks round 3 of the Women’s Pro Motocross series, where 2 time champion Kylie Fasnacht was on the gas winning both motos. Kylie is leading the WMX Series points as she pushed forward with her sights set on a 3rd straight WMX championship.
Congratulations to all competitors, and a big thanks to the 2X Promotions crew for a great event, and thanks to the Pala Tribe for the use of their land.

2017 Daytona Ricky Carmichael Amateur Supercross
March 12-13th, 2017
Daytona Beach, Florida
The 8th annual Daytona Ricky Carmichael Amateur Supercross went in full swing on Sunday morning, immediately following the pro race on Saturday night. 35 classes of athletes battled for 2 days in the iconic Daytona International Speedway, a privilege in its own to be racing at such a facility. On Sunday, some mid-morning rain threw a curveball to a number of classes leading into the day. On the other hand, Monday’s weather prediction had everyone scrambling to prepare for bad weather, yet not a drop fell during the race day making for perfect race conditions. Shortly after the event wrapped up and the last moto was off the track, the sky opened up and poured. Couldn’t have been timed any better.
Making his way from California, Stilez Robertson collected both championships in the SuperMini 1 and SuperMini 2 classes! Stilez’ Team Green teammate, Garrett Marchbanks, was also charging in the B class, coming home with the 250 B title, and silver medal in the 450 B. In the SchoolBoy 2 class, Marco Cannella made the journey down from Canada to claim second place. Dirco van der Westhuizen, hailing from South Africa and living recently full time in the states, was able to take the College (16-24) class championship. Ethan Mann was on fire aboard his 125cc machine, claiming a 2nd place in SchoolBoy 1, and a 1st place victory in the 125cc (12+) class, with Hardy Munoz from Chile rounding out the podium in 3rd in that class. In the 65cc (10-11) class, Preston Boespflug came all the way to Florida from the Pacific Northwest to battle out for an impressive 2nd place finish. Jordan “JJ” Jarvis was looking fast as always! Taking a commanding 1st place in the Women’s Am (12+) championship. In the WMX Women’s Pro Series, Daytona marks the 1st round of the 2017 schedule. 2016 defending WMX champion Kylie Fasnacht got a solid start and claimed 2nd place to gain some valuable point for the 8 round series. In the Vet class, Michigan’s John Grewe had a TRIPLE championship clean sweep of 40+, 45+, and 50+ Masters! Congratulations to all who came to compete at this great event. Below is a list of Fox team champions, and top 3 finishers.

Fox kicked off the 2017 season opener with an action packed Saturday!
Our HQ retail store opened up their doors to the public with free giveaways, raffles, in-store promotions, a live DJ and the Culver City Fire Department on the BBQ.
Shift hosted a Pre-party across the street from the stadium at Golden Road Brewery with beer specials, one of a kind giveaways and gourmet pizzas for their guests.
In true Anaheim 1 tradition, the Fox bus posted up in the parking lot at Angel Stadium for our annual Chill N Grill before the race. With brats and dogs on the grill and plenty of drinks to go around, our employees, industry friends and guests had a great time.
What better way to end the night, than with Ken Roczen and Ryan Dungey going 1 & 2?! Cheers to the 2017 Supercross Season!

Ken Roczen Seals the 2016 450 Pro Motocross Championship with Another 1-1 Performance at Budds Creek
Budds Creek National Race Report – Budds Creek MX, Mechanicsville, MD
August 20, 2016
Ken Roczen’s dream summer reached its pinnacle this weekend at Round 11 of the AMA Pro Motocross series at Budds Creek in Mechanicsville, Maryland. The #94 earned his second premier class title with yet another commanding 1-1 finish over the rest of the field. It has been a series to remember for Roczen as he has now earned a total of 8 Overall victories and has his eyes set on a 9th with the series moving into the final round at Ironman MX in Crawfordsville, Indiana. Rookie Pro Circuit star Austin Forkner also had a big day at Budds Creek as he solidified his 3rd consecutive podium finish with 5-2 moto finishes.
Roczen’s big day began with the top qualifying time in the 450 Class and the German was looking primed and ready to stand on the top step of the podium. He nailed a textbook holeshot in the opening 450 Moto and controlled the race from the front for the entire 17 laps. He made it look easy as he took the checkers with a 16 second gap over second place Marvin Musquin. He just barely missed double holeshots in the second moto but was able to quickly move into the lead early on the opening lap. He showed his dominance again throughout the moto as he put another giant gap on the field and took the win to seal his fate as the 2016 450 Pro Motocross champion. The champagne showers immediately followed the victory and Roczen celebrated alongside the GOAT Ricky Carmichael and the entire RCH Team.
Austin Forkner continued his strong push to the end of the 2016 Pro Motocross series and was flying again at Budds Creek. He took a 5th place finish in the opening 250 Moto and looked to better his score in the second Moto to earn another podium finish. The second moto began with a 3rd place start for Forkner, and he moved into the lead by Lap 5. The Rookie led for 4-5 laps before moving back to 2nd where he eventually finished. His 5-2 scores were good for 3rd Overall and another trip to the podium celebrations. He’ll look to put a cap on his great freshmen campaign at the final round of the series next weekend.
It was a series high for Adam Cianciarulo at Budds Creek and he showed some amazing speed throughout the day. He pulled the holeshot in the opening 250 Moto and led a great portion of the race before finishing up a season best 2nd Place. He backed it up in 250 Moto #2 with another great holeshot and a solid 5th Place finish. It was great to see AC back up front consistently and he’ll be looking for his first Overall podium finish of the season next week in Indiana.
Joey Savatgy had another roller coaster of a day at Budds Creek that began on a high note with a 3rd Place finish in 250 Moto #1. Unfortunately he ran into some troubles in the second moto and only was able to complete 12 Laps for a 34th place finish. He was still in the top 10 with a 9th Overall on 3-34 moto scores. Chris Alldredge returned to racing for the first time this summer and finished up a solid 10th Overall with 12-11 finishes. Arnaud Tonus was just behind Alldredge in the Overall standings, going 7-17 for 11th Overall.
We’ll finish off the 2016 AMA Pro Motocross Series next weekend at Ironman MX just outside of Indianapolis, Indiana and are looking forward to all of the Fox Athletes having a strong final round. See you there!

Fox Europe is stoked to share its latest video project #NEVERGIVEUP featuring the Honda MXGP rider, Tim Gajser; the guy who never stops believing, never stops trying and never gives up. Tim poured his heart out talking about his true passion of life - Motocross and what makes it one of the toughest sports in the world. Teamed up with Sebastien Zanella from Desillusion Mag for the project, Zanella brought onboard his vast experience of shooting documentaries for a number of different sports and his artistic expertise added a distinct flavour to the project.
Today is a very special day (the 24th of March) for the young Slovenian and his family. It brings with it a lot of memories and emotions to the Gajser Family and for that very reason, No. 243, that Tim has worn through out his MX career, means much more than just a number. At age of 19 yrs only, Tim Gajser made his debut in the premiere class of Motocross World Championship earlier this year in Qatar. Though still a rookie, he dazzled everyone by clean sweeping the event. With the first GP of Europe just around the corner, Tim is focused to gain his second win of the season and take charge of the points lead.

Rockstar Makita Suzuki's Ryan Dungey became only the 2nd rookie to ever win the AMA 450cc Motocross Championship (Ricky Carmichael was the first). Speaking of firsts, Ryan became the only rookie to win both the Supercross & Motocross Championships in the premier class in the same year as well.
With two rounds still remaining, Dungey is tied for most wins in a season (9) with RC and looks to break that record at the next round at Steel City in Delmont, PA this upcoming weekend. Ryan has won nine-straight overalls and an incredible 10 motos in a row. In fact he's gone 1-1 at every race since Red Bud on 7/4/10.
Congratulations on an amazing season Ryan from everyone at Fox!
